Having studied Fine Art and Textile Design in London, Catalina always felt drawn to the tactile, expressive side of creativity. After years working in fashion, television, and art direction, Guirado Design marked her return to her artistic roots — merging her design background with the legacy of her father’s visionary art

Featured Collaboration — The Karma Sanctum Soho Hotel
A landmark moment for Guirado Design, the Karma Sanctum Soho collaboration in London unveiled bespoke skull-print wallpapers, art prints, and textiles created by Catalina Guirado for the hotel’s restaurant and iconic Suite 401.
The project infused the space with Guirado’s surrealist spirit — a rock ’n’ roll blend of luxury, symbolism, and rebellion — and received major UK press coverage including Tatler and the Daily Mail.

Creative Philosophy
After a career that spanned fashion, television, and creative direction, Catalina’s return to design through Guirado Design was a natural evolution — a homecoming to her creative roots and a way to reinterpret her father’s artistic vision for modern life.
